The paired stimulus/forced choice model helps you record the preferred item in a suitable way from the least preferred when they are unable to scan more than two items on the surface.
Test steps:
- Sit opposite the child.
- Place two items in front of the child. If the child is unable to wait for the specialist to allow him to choose, the view can be blocked by a file or a book.
- Allow the child to look at the items in front of him/her and ask him/her, “Choose one?”
- Let the child eat if the choice is food, and if the items are toys, let the child play with the item for 15-30 seconds.
- Record the child’s selection on the data sheet.
- Ask the child to return the item to start a new attempt.
- If any of the items are rejected, record the rejection in the data sheet and start a new attempt.
- We offer a data collection model for dual-submission testing.
